Join us for a tour the world famous Oak Island.   Tours are conducted during the summer months.  Dates (when available) can be seen on our Tickets page.

Tours are 2 to 2 1/2 hours long.  These are walking tours stopping at several locations on the island.  Including the famous Money Pit, Borehole 10X and Smith’s Cove. Learn the history of the island with Oak Island Historian Charles Barkhouse.  Learn about past treasure hunting actives and former residents of the island.

The interpretation center access is included in the price of tours.  See artifacts found on the island, from the past including current finds as seen on The Curse Of Oak Island. Visit our gift shop for all your Oak Island goodies.

Things to know and bring.

Access to island is only permitted one hour before tour times.  We ask you arrive no sooner then one hour prior due to traffic issues.  When you arrive please stop where the signs are before the causeway.  Do not pass the signs.  The land on the other side of the signs to the causeway is private property.  Once we open the gate you will proceed over the causeway to the parking area.

Please have your ticket voucher printed and ready to show staff at gate to avoid delays.

Comfortable shoes, bottle of water and fly repellent is recommended.

Limited seating is available for person with mobility issues on our golf cart(s) [Ride along with staff].  These can not be booked in advance and are first come on the day of your tour.

Dogs are permitted and welcomed provided they are on a leash at all times.

Metal detecting is not permitted. (Yes, we do get asked)

There is no guarantee the owners or cast of The Curse of Oak Island will be on the island during any scheduled tour.
